Could it be, my dears?  An interesting male prospect in the god-forsaken desert that is my dating life these days?  Really???  Why yes, I believe that it is.  : )

Details to come as the situation develops.  Cross your fingers for me on this one – apparently I need all the luck I can get.

For now, I’m taking the day off on Tuesday and parking my sweet little ass on the beach!  I was completely unsuccessful in getting any of my friends to take the day off with me, so I’ll be enjoying a nice, relaxing day ALONE as I soak up the sun, catch up on reading, and listen to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore as all the stress and aggravation of my daily life melt away into a state of complete and utter bliss.  Try to contain your jealousy.  I’m outta here, peeps!  : )

    No jealousy here. I live and work at beaches that put Jones beach to shame. I’m a bit jealous that I won’t get to gaze at your amazing form on the beach, though, or mistakenly (and I never miss) throw a frisbee that lands at your feet. Instead, I’ve been looking at all the humboldt squid have been literally washing ashore here. How I feel about that, is this: http://www.asofterworld.com/index.php?id=177

    hubman – Of course I went to Jones Beach! I grew up on LI as well and absolutely love that beach. There’s nothing like it in the NY metro area. It’s hands down my favorite.
