Great work on the GRE. Also, well done on dropping New Year’s Lips. Now all you need to do is drop the so-called Hot Marine and you’re done. You’ll find a new New Year Lips, maybe a Hot Seaman (get it… Navy) 2010 is going to be amazing.

Funny how it took an external thing like your exam result to give you the boost you needed to make a great decision. You were able to do that all along, you just didn’t, or maybe forgot that you could.

Awesome! Didn’t know that the GRE only takes a couple of weeks of hardcore studying. I’ve always thought the GRE was some months-long studying ordeal. Hmmm, gives me the inspiration to look into grad school.

I heart standardized tests. My GRE scores got me into Mensa without even having to take their Mensa-specific test!

I’m totally stoked about grad school for you. It was the best time of my life, intellectually and socially, and that’s where I met Jake! Well, he was in a different program, but we were both in grad school

Awesome, DD. I know your feeling about the GREs as well. They really aren’t all that tough after a few weeks of studying. I found them to be easier than the SATs.

As for NYL – if the man doesn’t know how to see quality in you and pursue it, don’t waste your time. I am glad you finally see that for yourself and have acted in a way that you feel good about.

Wow so you have even more to do to get into grad school? I thought the GRE’s were it. You should apply for ours – I think that our application is a bit easier (not that i have ever done it) And I think we have warmer sunnier locations!
