Studying is good for the soul?
Dude, I can’t believe I’m still awake at midnight on a Thursday! Geez, this studying is killing me. Anyway, not much time to write (as usual these days), but I wanted to document an interesting (and kind of obvious, when you think about it) observation that just materialized itself in my overwhelmed and completely saturated little brain today:
I have no time to be depressed and lonely when I’m busy.
These past two weeks, filled to the absolute brim with studying whenever I’m not working or sleeping, have been amazing. I feel motivated and confident and in control, and I haven’t been agonizing over stupid man drama every waking moment of the day. If this is what grad school is going to be like, well, fucking sign me up. Ironically, although I’ve had absolutely no time for fun, these past two weeks have been the best weeks I’ve had in a long time.

Amen Sistah. When you’re busy, you don’t need ‘em! LOL. That’s usually when they find ya tho. When you have no time for them! Go figure.

Haha! That’s why people become workaholics! It can be an escapism.

Nicole – Seriously! I could never be a workaholic (I just don’t feel that strongly about my work), but I definitely see the benefits of being distracted from your life 24/7.
