Ok, ok, I admit it – my interactions with the new male prospect have been less than healthy over the past few years, but I really do enjoy my friendship with him, and it was great to get back in touch. He’s been exclusively dating his GF for over a year now, and he and I are JUST friends. No funny business. Besides, his GF sounds like a nice girl. I’m happy for them!

As for New Year’s Lips – he did eventually write back after my “I’m done with this bullshit” email. He waited a week to get back to me, and his brilliant response was something like “Yeah, I didn’t really know what I was up to there… sorry!” Whatever!! Moving right along.

Remember all these dudes who would, for a lack of a better term, love you and leave you? NMP is one of those guys. Sure, it’s a cute date, sure he’s a lot of fun and sure you have great physical chemistry. But sure, he won’t call you for a few weeks.

Seriously, find someone new…or a few new guys.

Or maybe you can wait until Hot Marine invites you to his wedding and asks if you want to bone “for old time’s sake” in the coat room. Those tissues aren’t for crying, you know.
