I had a great one and I am also spending NYE night in. It is half past 8 and I am currently cooking dinner. I had a few offers but didn't feel like fighting the 1.5m people expected on Sydney harbour (and queuing for porta toilets... not to mention the NIGHTMARE journey home - oh and did I mention it has been raining on and off all day?) so I decide that i don't need to conform to everyone's idea of a good NYE and decided on staying in. The parents are away, the spa is on and for dinner I had a great starter of garden salad with feta and avocado, currently making grilled chicken with a creamy prawns and mushroom sauce. And for dessert I am having Eton Mess (google it :-) A couple of bottles of champers are also being consumed.
