Happy Valentine’s Day!
Happy V-Day, everyone! : ) In honor of yet another Valentine’s Day as a single woman, I’m going grocery shopping, paying bills, watching the Olympics, and having dinner with a friend (another single woman). How romantic, right? Ha. Am I bitter? Maybe a little. Have I been rolling my eyes at all the cheesy V-Day commercials lately? Umm, yes. Do I purposefully look away when I pass by all the roses on the street corners? Definitely. I think this one is hitting a little harder than usual, not sure why. I just keep telling myself that all I have to do is hang in there for a few more months. Head down, power through. I still think V-Day is a great opportunity to celebrate ALL the people you love, friends and family included, so I’m focusing on that. Hope you all have a good one! : )

I just keep telling myself that it’s just a Hallmark holiday and doesn’t really mean anything. There even seems to be a pretty strung anti-valentines sentiment in my neck of the city, it’s kind of amusing but at the same time you have to think that those same people would likely be pro-valentines had they been in relationships…

It’s just that these single ones seems to hang on me a bit – a blatant reminder of something I constantly try to forget. Ha.

Happy V Day
I had dinner with my parents (who went out the night before) and my Aunty. I managed to forget what day it was. Love it when it falls on a weekend!
I have only had one valentine in my life how sad is that. And that was shared with a friend who was visiting from out of town. The boy made a great effort tho.
